NCLEX ATT and Test Scheduling Steps


NCLEX Applicants - First Timers with BON Eligibilities
 
Upon receipt of Eligibility Notice from Board of Nursing proceed to Step 1 
 
Step 1: Apply for Authorization To Test (ATT) online via www.pearsonvue.com/nclex
·         You will need to create a new web account before you can sign in
·         Complete the Internet registration: 
o   Program Code for Philippines is 99-425
o   Mother's maiden name (last name only - mother's family name before marriage) needed
o   Select the Board of Nursing from which you are seeking licensure
·         Application Fee is $200 (Have the credit card ready when completing the internet registration)
 
Step 2: Receive Acknowledgement of Receipt of Registration from Pearson VUE
 
Step 3: Receive Authorization to Test (ATT) letter from Pearson VUE
 
Once RN receives ATT, check that your name matches your ID and proceed to Step 4
 
Step 4: Scheduling Exam Via Telephone 
Note: You can only schedule an appointment for test centers outside of the U.S.* by telephone through the Pearson VUE NCLEX Candidate
Services. Walk-ins will not be accepted at test centers outside of the U.S
·         Call Pearson VUE NCLEX Candidate Services (Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. local time for each country; closed on local holidays
o    India -  +91-120-439-7837 – if calling from Philippines
o    United States - Call toll-free at  1.866.49NCLEX ( 1.866.496.2539) – if calling from USA
·         Supply name and ATT number, along with other information to verify identity. 
·         Request preference for date and time of testing
·         If your first-choice date or time is unavailable, you will be offered an alternative as close to your first choice as possible
·         Scheduling fee of $150
Step 5: Exam Day
·         Arrive for exam appointment and present your ATT letter and acceptable identification (ID)
Step 6: Receive your results from your board of nursing approximately one month after your exam.

If you have previously taken a test with Pearson VUE, but do not remember your sign in information, please use the links on the right. Some testing programs require a separate web account. If your existing sign in is not accepted, it may mean that you have not yet registered with the selected testing program. To do so, follow the link to create a new web account.

TOR received by CGFNS

I got an email today from CGNS, informing me that they got transcript of records. Thank you Lord. One more to go.. but it will take 2 months to get my license verification there. I hope there will be no problems with it.

NCLEX Process

I got this in the forum..

heres the step by step...
1. apply online www.cgfns.org (choose only CES) thats the only thing we need.
2. pay online $385 (if not online (eg checks/money order its $410)
3. print and fill out the forms for VOL (verification of license) and send to PRC in philippines (i went home just for this last april) if u want something done correctly, DO IT YOURSELF.
4. Print and fill out REQUEST FOR TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS and send to ur school to fill out (there are more forms to print from CGFNS on CES application) u will know when u get there - but u only have to send to ur school and PRC
5. waiting game begins UNTIL WHEN cgfns finished reviewing ur curriculum from philippines
6, when ur CES report is issued...THATS WHEN U CONTACT Texas Board of Nursing again and pay $139 online and wait again till they issue ur ATT
7. pay pearson VUE $200 examination fee! 

For now, I am on no.5, the waiting..

As of Oct 1.. I'm on no 6.....


License Verification

I went to PRC today to process my license verification. I paid 75 pesos plus the mailing of my license which cost 198 pesos. I chose the regular mail and the lady said it will take 2 months to get to the states. It's okay for now because I still need to study and I will just wait. Thank you Lord for today though I am not feeling well.

Got Mail from CGFNS

I got a message from CGFNS tonight in my mail. I read it and was happy because they got my mail already and my license verification is already changed to registered nurse. Thank you so much Lord. Tomorrow I need to go the PRC to process my verification. Hopefully and praying that everything will be okay with my papers.

NCLEX Review 4000

I planned to start my review today and answer the NCLEX 4000 stored in my computer. I got this for free on one of the forums. If you are interested to get a copy please leave me a comment here, I am very much willing to share and send it to you for free. I decided to write my updates here on my studying. I will do the Fundamentals of Nursing first and it has 653 questions.

TOR Sent

I got my Transcript of Records today from my two schools. I sent them via registered mail. Hopefully it will arrive in 2 weeks. I am still lacking one requirement and that is the license verification.
